Mentally – Depression Workshop

Clinical depression in medical students and health professionals is disproportionately common but simultaneously undertreated. Elevated exposure to risk factors like the high pressure environment increase the probability of developing depression, while the stigma stays persistent. Often no help is seeked, even though resources are theoretically more easily available than for the general population.

Why is this such an important topic to talk about? How can we see the signs in ourselves and our peers? And what can we do about it?

We, the mentally team, invite you to join our discussion in collaboration with Dr. Bonea about the main concerns and how we can find ways to change the current situation for the better, individually and collectively.
