What we do.

Our main role is to represent the English speaking student body before the Faculties’ Administration, the other local students organizations (Corporation Médicale Cluj, Organizația Studenților Mediciniști din Cluj) and the academic community. In addition to this, we exist to provide a network of support for students, to give students opportunities to get involved in other activities outside of the school curriculum, and to give back to the community that has welcomed us.

EMSA helped me right away with every question I could bring up about the career or the admission process, also they make connections and meetings with other students easier by organizing get togethers and events which is really welcoming and helpful!
I’m glad you guys exist thanks for everything :)

EMSA was and is to me one of the mosaic places in Cluj, no one could be more different than the other and the community as a whole is a great potential for what it is now and what it can become.
My experience with EMSA was very diverse, I got to meet amazing people, ideas and minds.
Join us and to make our voice in UMF resonant, give our colleagues a great support and time in Cluj!! :))
— Mana Alfa, volunteer
If you ask me, EMSA represents an amazing feeling of group dynamics. Beside the medical studies in Cluj it is really fullfilling to turn ideas into action and tackle projects in motivated groups. Furthermore it is a great place to meet new people from all over the world.
— Max Morsbach, volunteer
The EMSA team members and volunteers are cheerful, ambitious, altruistic, hard working people coming from different countries. They organize the best events, workshops and trips, as well as doing charity work. As a part of the staff, it is always a pleasure to work with them which keeps me always enthusiastic about our future plans.
